It is with immense pleasure that we announce the Video Contest.

The competition is quite simple. Just have an awesome video about your section, representing it's people, culture, food, dance, natural beauty, cities, etc. anything you think people should know about your section.

Following are the guidelines regarding the video presentation competition.
ELIGIBILITY
● All the registered delegates of AISYWC 2018 are eligible for participation in the competition.
● Only ONE entry is allowed from each section.
● No limit on team size.
● All videos must be original work, prepared by the applicant(s).
● Registration for this event can be done by filling up this form.

RULES
● Videos should be made showcasing the culture, heritage, facts, monuments, wildlife etc. of the respective section.
● In case of multiple contestants wishing to create videos for the same IEEE section, we will contact all the concerned parties and let them resolve the matter themselves. If it is not resolved mutually then first come first serve basis will be applied.
● Stock pictures and footage may be used, but usage of original footage will be appreciated and included in the judging criteria.
● Refrain from any copyright infringement, doing so will result in point deduction.
● The length of the video should not exceed 5 minutes.
● The team has to submit the video in either of the following format : avi, mp4, mkv, m4v only.
● The video will be showcased and the winner will be decided by a panel.
● The videos have to be made prior to the congress and submitted to Jishnu S M( jishnusm1997@gmail.com).
● You can directly mail the video or upload the video in the drive and send the link.
●To make your video unique and distinguished, participants can include their own videos instead of a generic clip or pre-available video. Creativity shall add to extra points.

JUDGEMENT CRITERIA
●Coverage of Section - Extent of coverage of the IEEE section.
● Editing - Quality of editing including choice of background music, footage used, infographics used, information about the state provided, etc.
● Visual Appeal - How much appealing was the video to the viewers.

CULTURAL NIGHT AND EXHIBITION

AISYWC’18 will host a Multi-Cultural Night with Exhibition on the evening of 29th September from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM IST.
We are highly excited about this and hope that you along with friends from your section will be able to put up in the cultural performance. This Multi-Cultural Performance will surely gather a lot of attention from variety of performances from everyone. So, go ahead and plan something big and showcase your culture in the event for 5-6 min.
Any of the IEEE Section which is represented at the event is also invited to put up a stall and show their activities and culture during the dinner. All the interested participants will be given opportunity to project your local culture with our guests from IEEE and other delegates of the event. The tables/stalls will be provided for interested participants from each section during the dinner where they can and share gifts with the participants. The stalls can project some interesting concepts (origami preparation etc.,).
NOTE: Dress code for the multicultural night is a traditional dress of your State.

PROFESSIONAL NIGHT

AISYWC’18 will host a formal dinner on the evening of 28th September from 7:00PM to 9:30P.M. It will include few performances and talks from Bangalore Section followed by the Awards Presentation. We will also have a photoshoot after the Awards session. We invite you all to participate in this event and join us in celebrating the achievements of all volunteers.
NOTE: Dress code for the event is Business Formals.

MTT-S Hands on Workshop on RF and Antenna Design

AISYWC is pleased to announce a Hands on Workshop on RF and Antenna Design Supported by IEEE MTT-S and Entuple Technologies. This will be one of its kind workshop and pre-registration is mandatory as only 30 seats are available per batch and only 4 batch are planned during AISYWC.
Why RF & Antenna Design:
1. Growing RF Market with emerging new technologies-RF and Antenna Design for IoT, 5G, Autonomous vehicle, Medical Electronics etc.
2. Next Generation High Through put communication system and satellites
3. Next Generation Wireless communication and opportunities in ISRO, DRDO, BEL, INTEL and other industries

Duration of the workshop is 1 Hr. There is No prerequisite for the workshop however basic knowledge of RF/Microwave/Antennas will be added advantage.
